Hello guys, its the beginning of a new week, hope our weekends was fantastic?

Today we gonna be concentrating on our vehicle’s UNDERCARRIAGE,  preventing from damages, how to keep it clean and so on. So guys stay connected to this *winks*

Most people rarely, if ever, look underneath their vehicle. The undercarriage of a vehicle often tells a story about the life the vehicle has lived. The story may consist of the climate the vehicle is operated in, the amount of pampering it has received, or whether the vehicle is parked in a garage or outdoors. The story may consist of a major wreck, abuse, improper repairs, bent components, or major rust. All of these things can be concealed or hidden by a nice paint job, undercoating, and new attaching components. While much attention is given to maintaining the external and outer parts of our various vehicles, let’s also give some attention to our vehicle’s undercarriages. However, undercarriage of a vehicle can suffer damages as well as the top; there’s this saying that goes by saying “OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND”  this actually is not a good one to apply to the undercarriages of our vehicles.

so guys let’s talk about

CAUSES OF UNDERCARRIAGE DAMAGES

Undercarriage damage refers to harm done to the supporting framework underneath a vehicle,

  • Salt
Salted roads in winter can corrode and rust the undercarriage. Rust and corrosion can wear down various parts of the undercarriage over time. Frequent washing and steaming of the underside of a car during cold months can help prevent rust.
  • Mud

Mud can sometimes be a problem in some regions and can take a toll on the undercarriage of a vehicle. If caked-on mud is not washed off the undercarriage of a vehicle, it can hold in moisture, which causes rust.

  • Worn-Out Shock Absorbents
Worn-out shock absorbents can lead to damage to the undercarriage of a vehicle. A vehicle with worn-out shocks can lead to excessive jolts for a vehicle; a good hard jolt could knock loose components underneath a vehicle such as exhaust system brackets.

Sudden undercarriage damage is caused by potholes, rocks in the road, fallen trees and even debris from other vehicles. Drivers with full coverage can file a collision claim for car insurance, and the owner would pay the deductible.

How To Prevent Undercarriage From Getting Damage.

  •  Inspect your undercarriages daily

As a good driver you must be able to examine your undercarriage very well and make sure it functions very well. you must be able to examine your undercarriage at least twice in a month after you have made use of the car so it will not cause damage to your car.

  • Check track tension daily:

Checking the tension of the undercarriage track is very essential in prolonging its life span. In cases whereby the ‘tracks’ also known as ‘screws’ are tighter than they should be, it tends to increase wears on parts of the undercarriage and lowers power and fuel efficiency. Also if the screws are too loose, it will lead to instability within the undercarriage which may lead to the screws derailing from its main point. Please have it in mind that sand, mud can get stucked on the undercarriage which will also bring about tension on the screws. therefore it is advised to check the tension of the screws more frequently.

  • Clean the undercarriage at the end of every day

Cleaning of the undercarriage is important .Daily cleaning is an essential part of preventive maintenance, and is even more critical in below-freezing conditions, when substances can freeze up inside the track. And these problem come and easily compound if they are not address.Cleaning the undercarriage everyday is a good thing

  • Follow all OEM-recommended care guidelines and maintenance schedule
